In the on-going quest to Make AlltheInterweb Great Again, I have started contemplating making better use of the Entertainment section of this blog with Movie Reviews.
Being the first month of the year I’m once again starting to see fresh flickers of life in my quest to become one of the more successful content creator type people here on the interweb.
The past couple of years have not been kind to AlltheInterweb, with changes to PHP versions and the way MySQL works with it rendering the original web directory part of the site pretty much f***ed. So I’ve had to start improvising a complete new one from scratch using a plugin for this wordpress blog software.
Things have not been going so well with AlltheInterweb’s presence on Twitter. I think it was peaking at around 1735 followers at one point, but at time of writing this thing has flopped back to 569 followers.
Things have not been going so well with the Alexa Rankings either. About 5 or 6yrs ago I’d finally gotten this old place to within the top 500,000 websites in the world until some Egytian c**t some how got into the web hosting space and tinkered with the htaccess file to re-direct every on my webspace to their f***ing domain parking page.
I’d dragged the place back to the top 13.5million ranked sites on Alexa by the time I last grabbed a screen shot to help provide some sort of clipart to go with a blog post I wrote about it in 2019, but it seems to have fallen off the edge of a cliff like Wile E. Coyote again since.
So, with most of the world still locked down due to people freaking out over a virus with a recovery rate that’s about the same as my webhost’s 99.9% uptime guarantee, I’ve thought to perhaps delve into my extensive collection of movies to try cobble together some movie review blog posts about them.
